The University Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws (Honors) is a five years full time Course with a Face to Face learning mode of delivery, Within this combined degree program, students study a combination of Arts and Law courses over a period of five years full-time.
On completion of the first three years students will have completed all the courses required for the Bachelor of Arts degree. In the final two years of the combined degree program students complete the requirements of the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and may enrol in these two years on a less than full time basis.
Students wishing to practise law must also complete postgraduate professional training approved by the Legal Profession Admission Board. Alternatively, students completing this degree may apply for entry to the Bachelor of Laws (Honours)/Diploma of Legal Practice Program
International students studying this program on campus are required to enrol full time to comply with their student visa requirements and complete their study in the standard minimum program duration.
Program Requirement
Students must complete 400 units of courses to be awarded the Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree.
Students must complete 30 units of core courses for the Bachelor of Arts plus one of the single major pathways A or C.
Students must also complete 160 units of core courses and 80 units of directed courses for the Bachelor of Laws (Honours).
