Without even realizing it, a day in the life of a Canberran is touched by the vocational training and skills of CIT graduates in a range of industries, from their fitness instructor and coffee shop barista, to their children’s trusted early childhood educator, their aged care support worker and the tradies that keep utilities running throughout the city.
This program provides you with the opportunity to lead teams, manage programs and design and implement curriculum for children in Early Childhood Education and Care services.
You will be required to have a ‘Working with Vulnerable People Check’ before undertaking any professional placement with children. Information will be provided on enrolment.
This program has a mandatory industry placement (approx. 480 hours in total OR 240 hours if you have completed the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care CHC30113).
You must purchase a CIT shirt ($22) and in addition, you are required to wear a hat whilst on placement ($11 or wear your own).
Once you have completed the form, one of our operational consultant will be in touch to explain the next steps.
