TasTAFE 2021 Scholarship Program

From time to time, scholarships and other promotions become available for international students at TasTAFE and Tasmanian Government Schools.

Whether you are preparing for employment, looking to gain a promotion or thinking about a change in career, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to access quality, affordable training that will enable you to achieve your career goals.

Scholarship Eligibility:

Scholarships are available for any student who is currently living outside of Australia, who applies to study at TasTAFE and commence in February 2021 in the following study areas:

Laboratory Technology
Engineering
Information Technology
Hospitality
Tourism
Commercial Cookery

Value of Scholarship:

$1000

Scholarship Allocation:

9 scholarships will be provided to international students
Key Dates:

Students must apply by October 31, 2020.
Applicants will be informed of the outcome by November 6, 2020.
Students will need to commence their studies in one of the following intakes:

February 2021
July 2021
February 2022

Scholarship Criteria:

On the application form you will be required to provide a 150 word response to each of the following questions:

Why have you chosen to study in Tasmania?
Briefly outline three (3) achievements you are proud of (e.g. academic, sport, arts, leadership, community).
How will you help to act as an ambassador and share your experiences at TasTAFE and in Tasmania?
